Japan is a large island country in the western Pacific. It covers 145,900 square miles ( 377,900 sq. Km ), making it a bit smaller compared to the state of California. It is across the sea from China, Korea, and Russia. Around three hundred BCE a new inflow of folks arrived on the island.
